The Judge made by Taurus is considered one of the most popular and
best handguns of all time. This revolver shoots both .45 LC cartridges
and .410 shot shells, has a special shock-absorbing rubber grip and
front fiber-optic sight to note some of the features. The chamber has
versions to fit either the 2.5" or 3" .410 shells. By that, it is going
off of which cylinder size the gun has. This means having a heavier gun
and wide frame.
Taurus Judge Models have gotten some criticism for being
light for field work but too heavy to be a self defense bedroom gun. To
put it plain and simple, the Judge is a hand cannon. Only a few guns are
mass produced larger then a .410 Judge, including the Desert Eagle 5.0
and the .460 S&W.
Being able to have two revolver shots makes this the ultimate gun. As mentioned above, the Judge can shot both .45 LC and .410 shot shells. The .45 LC makes this gun more of a bedroom self defense gun while the .410 makes a great field gun. The Judge is the best of both worlds.
