Adding a bit of class to the 1911-380 platform. Not only is this little beauty ready for accurate, functional shooting and easy carry, it simply looks superb with its composite frame with machined aluminum subframe, blackened stainless steel finish with silver polished flats. Then add to that checkered rosewood grips with gold Buckmark logos. The steel three-dot combat sights, dovetails into the slide, are a fine finishing touch.
The concept. The Browning 1911-380 combines two of John M. Browning's most lasting innovations - the Model 1911 and the 380 ACP cartridge - into a modern, lightweight pistol. Unlike most of the modern "pocket pistols" that chamber the snappy 380 ACP cartridge, the 1911-380 is slightly larger to better manage recoil for improved control that makes follow-up shots faster and more accurate. The grip is compact, yet is long and wide enough to allow the shooting hand full purchase for added shooting comfort.
Browning's 1911-380 is 15% smaller than the 45 ACP models and the ideal choice for concealed carry, home protection, shooters. It allows for more comfortable shooting, control, and accurate follow-up shots. The natural grip angle offers instinctual pointing, while a low bore axis provides excellent recoil control and shooting comfort. It has a flat profile, single-action trigger, longer slide and barrel, ambidextrous manual thumb and grip safety, and a steel magazine. This Black Label Medallion Pro Compact model has a composite frame with a 7075 aluminum subframe and slide rails. It utilizes a 4.25" barrel, blackened stainless steel slide with polished stainless steel flats and 3-dot combat sights, rosewood grip with Buckmark inlay, and includes two 8-round magazines and an ABS carry case.
